Today I will provide you with a link to a list longboarding techniques. Okay the link is also to Wikipedia, but it is a very good list with some good definitions. However I did notice one thing wrong, they left out pushing.
Pushing may the first or second thing you need to learn for longboarding and skateboarding. To push all you do is choose a foot, plant it on the ground and push yourself along, it gets a little more complicated than that when considering stance and what foot you push with. But here is a quick tip for complete newbie's, when pushing do it like your running with one foot and keep your feet parallel with each other and the board.
